- Maintain a respectful demeanor in public spaces. Loud or disruptive behavior is generally frowned upon, and keeping conversations at a moderate volume is expected.
- Like in the UK, Canadians value orderly lines. Always wait your turn and respect the queue, whether at a bus stop, in a store, or elsewhere.
- Respect personal space and avoid standing too close to others in public settings. Canadians generally appreciate a bit of distance in social interactions.
- If you’re running late, it’s courteous to notify the person you’re meeting.

When visiting parks or outdoor areas, follow local guidelines for environmental protection and practice responsible behaviour, such as disposing of trash properly and respecting wildlife.- Canada’s diverse climate means that conditions can vary significantly depending on the region, so it’s important to be prepared for the specific weather patterns of the area you plan to visit.
