Common Language: English is widely spoken and understood, especially in urban areas, business contexts, and among the educated population. Mandarin and Tamil is commonly spoken in the Chinese a Indian communities respectively.

Berapa harga ini? - How much does this cost?Respect Religion: Malaysia is predominantly Muslim, so it's important to show respect for Islamic practices. During the month of Ramadan, avoid eating, drinking, or smoking in public places during daylight hours.
Dress: Casual dress is acceptable but dress more conservatively with visiting Kampungs (villages)
Tipping: Not mandatory in Malaysia but is appreciated in restaurants and for services. A service charge is often included in the bill.
Public Behaviour: Public displays of affection, such as kissing or hugging, are generally frowned upon. Maintain a respectful distance and avoid loud or disruptive behavior in public places
Bargaining: Common in markets and some shops, but it is less common in malls and established businesses. When bargaining, do so politely.
Body Language: Finger pointing is impolite, instead motion with your open hand or thumb
Politeness: Malaysians are known for their politeness and hospitality. SW Monsoon (May-September): Rain to the western side of Peninsular Malaysia. The eastern side of the peninsula, including the islands, experiences relatively drier conditions.

Laksa: A spicy noodle soup with a sour fish broth or a coconut curry base

Nasi Lamak: Fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf served with crispy anchovies, sambal, hard-boiled eggs, roasted peanuts, and cucumber.
